With this training she will be providing vaccines (children 5 and above), full informed consent, and the opportunity to ask questions as part of the 7 steps towards informed consent advised by the BC CDC
Dr. Bean speaks about the most common childhood vaccine preventable infections. What do they look like if your child contracts them? What are the main concerns you need to be aware of?
Why is aluminium used in vaccines? How do adjuvants work? What role do each of the excipients play in the vaccine?
Based on your final and informed decision you make for your child, what are the ways you can optimize the effectiveness or even decrease the effectiveness of vaccines?
Vaccines are used to only protect your child from a handful of infections so what about the rest of the infections your child is exposed to?
